The "Ring the Bell Campaign" is a pioneering initiative by Lilians Fonds to ensure the Educational initiatives for Children With Disability across the world since 2012. The purpose behind the campaign is to draw the attention of the community, local governing body, media etc. for the enrolment of children with disabilities with educational institutions. Therefore Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre made effortsto take forward this campaign to various localities of Rajgarh, Digboi and Duliajan and create awareness. The campaign was conducted at 13 different schools. Few of them are- 1.pragjyotish L. P school ( Duliajan) 2.Naharatia L. P school 3.Pakumara l. P school 4.jooktali T. E L. P Rajgarh school 5.sti Bangure L. P school 6 .Dhuwa pathar L. P school 7.Dishing mazi gaon L.p school 8.Keseruguni L. P school 9.Lachit nimno L. P school 10. Rangsua L. P school 11. Nursing college ( Digboi). A concluding program was organized on the 18th of March 2022 at Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre.
A Neuro- Psychiatry Camp was organized at MRC for the children with long term Seizures and for children with behavioral issues. The decision to organize the camp was taken by the Local Committee Meeting under the Scheme of DISHA. In the camp Consultant Neurologist, Mr. Rupam Hazarika and Consultant Psychiatrist , Mrs. Rupa Gohain were present for the Screening, evaluation and treatment of Seizures and behavioral issues of the children. A total of 45 children were screened and evaluated by the doctors.
Observation of Swachata Pakhwada for 15 day at Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre from 1st March to 15th March 2022. Different activities were carried out create awareness about Swatchata among the children of MRC. The activities mainly included Awareness program, Hand washing practise, Menstrual Hygiene and plantation drive.
Drawing Competition was held at Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre on the occasion of World water Day. The Competition was conducted by Oil India Limited, Duliajan. The topic of the competition included " Water Pollution and its impact on Environment". All the Children of MRC participated in the competition.
Today on the 12.03.2022 a Thyroid Screening Camp was held at Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre with the help of Nirmali Pharmacy, Duliajan. The screening was conducted for a total of 42 children coming different outreach centres- Digboi and Rajgarh area under Mrinaljyoti rehabilitation Centre, Duliajan and from neighbouring areas of Duliajan.
Today on the occasion of International Women's day the Secretary Smt. Amiya Pathak Borpujari, also the founder and Principal of Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre gets honoured for her tremendous contribution towards the society as an Educator and Social Worker who has been working tirelessly for the upliftment and empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. The Secretary of Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre and two other special educators conducted a training program on Early childhood Care and Education for PWDs. The Asha Karmis of Rajgarh area and the Anganwadi workers were the main target population for the training.

This year too MRC and all the children together in exuberance celebrated the beautiful day. The children showcased their talents by their sensational performances indicating the possibility to conquer and vanish all barriers that may come.
The day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India. This year Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre celebrated Samvidhan Diwas in its premises to instill the values of Justice, Equality, Liberty and Fraternity among the children and to make them aware of their rights and duties. To achieve the objective a presentation was given on: A)Preamble of the Constitution B) the rights and duties enshrined in our constitution for adolescents.D) the rights and duties enshrined in our constitution for very young children in Anganwadis.
India commemorates 75 years of independence on the 15th of August 2021. The whole nation is observing a 75 week festival called ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – It means Elixir of Independence. Therefore the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) of Dibrugarh organized Drawing Competition on the 22nd of November 2021to celebrate this Mahotsav. The Children enthusiastically participated in the competition.
Like every year the Annual report of 2020-2021 was presented on the 20th of November 2021 in the Annual General Meeting. The meeting was attended by the Executive members, Members of the Zaloni Ladies Club, Parents and all the staffs of Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre.
To observe the Child Rights Week Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (ASCPCR) organized a cultural program utilizing the virtual platform. The Children of MRC presented a traditional Dance in the cultural event.
MRC is gifted with wonderful children full of diversity, beauty and positivity and so we take the opportunity to celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and enjoying the gifts of childhood. The special day began commemorating the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The Children whole heartedly participated in various games and group activities.
In the festival of Lights our Children of MRC commemorate the victory of good over evil and conquer darkness by lighting diyas and filling it with good and positive vibes creating memories of joyous moments.

All the staffs and children above 18 completed the 2nd dose of vaccination against COVID 19. SDMO Dr. Kulen Chandra Gohain and Dr. Anil Medhi and Dr. Bhavna Goswami of Tengakhat PHC, vaccinated the staffs and children of MRC.
